Hope M. FryeHope is one of America ’s premier immigration lawyers and top speakers. She was the keynote speaker at the 40th Annual Luncheon of the California Trial Lawyers honoring the California Supreme Court. She has addressed the Southern Conference of Attorneys General, the American Judicature Society (professional association of U.S. federal judges) and the Annual Conference of Immigration Judges. Hope began legal practice working on complex, multi-party commercial litigation. In 1980, after developing a practice, she became a recognized immigration lawyer. After holding many offices and working on national liaison with the Department of State and Immigration Service, Hope was elected president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (1991-92), the national bar association of immigration attorneys with about 10,000 members. Hope co-authored The Employers’ Immigration Compliance Guide, published by Matthew Bender, the leading book on employer obligations to verify employees’ legal work authorization and related government audits. She also developed InSide Immigration: The Practice Advisory (monthly publication), and has written many articles on a variety of legal topics. Hope represents a diverse group of large and small companies, schools, universities and nonprofits. For five years, she was Counsel to AT&T for Visas and Immigration, responsible for all immigration matters and for counseling the corporation. Hope is listed in Best Lawyers in America .
